2nd Support Group Meeting
Support Group Meeting #2 was held on June 26, 2018, at 6PM. at Jackson Memorial Hospital, 1080 NW 19th Street, Miami FL, DTC #252.
Rob Seaman, MOA Secretary/Treasurer, welcomed everyone and introduced the speaker, Michelle Larea, MS, RDN, CDE. Michelle works with the Diabetes and Nutrition Outpatient Program at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator, which is a credential offered by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (CDE) and a Master of Science (MS). Her topic was “How What You Eat Affects Your Ostomy”.
Refreshments were served and enjoyed by all.
